I Get a FREE Dyson!!!!

In the month of march there was a sales contest between Sears Athens and Sears Gainesville. Which ever store sold the most Dyson's got a free one to give to one of their sales people. Well my boss said if we won then then whoever sold the most in the department got one for free, well i sold 6 out of the 12 for the entire store so i get it for free. The one i am getting is the Dyson DC25 or as most know it the Dyson Ball. Here is a picture and the specifications of my new toy i will get in about a month or two.

This Normally Costs $500 :D

Slow Retail Sales

So for the past two months it seems like retail sales had dropped by about 40% in the amount of customers that come in and actually buy. We get plenty of "just looking" or "just browsing". Hopefully in the next month or two when people get their check back from the government, we will get some more business. On the plus side when there aren't any customers i at least can watch TV, we get every station from Dish Network at the store.

Tennis

Today i played tennis for the first time with several of my friends. I had lots of fun learning the game, the rules, and learning to gauge the power of each type of swing. I hurt my ankle within 5 minutes of starting to play (my ankle bowed out and popped 4 times) it hurts but i walked it off and still played. I definitely want to play again.

Six Flags

I went to Six Flags on UGA day and there was hardly any people it was great. I got to ride the rides that are usually like 2 hour wait and on this day it was only 25 minutes. My favorite ride is called the Acrophobia. It takes you straight up 350ft in the air tilts you forward so that you are looking at the ground and then drops you in like 3 seconds. It feels like your falling from a plane without hitting the ground.

Easter Weekend

I requested off this weekend for Easter since i haven't been to Hiawassee in a while. On the drive up i was just observing all of the beautiful scenery and i just couldn't stop taking pictures.

Sunday we woke up and went to the 8:30 am service at Saint Francis. The kids had an Easter egg hunt after and it was very cute and chaotic. Once we got home Dad and i made breakfast for everyone, then we decided to go golfing at The Ridges Golf Course. We paid for 18 holes but i decided to stop after 9 holes cause i was a bit tired and getting a little sunburned. Dad, Rusty, and Tyler continued and i went home.

Later i went and Saw Paul's house. We drove around on Paul's John Deere Gator and he showed me all the property as well as the cutest little baby goat, which reminded me of living on New Life Farm in Hayesville.

Later i went and hung out with my friend Steven at work that i haven't seen in several months, after which we went and had some Huddle House.

My New Blog/Journal

Hello All, i have decided to start keeping up a blog. Lately i have been taking a lot of pictures and have been wanting to get deeply into photography. The other night my camera fell on the floor and broke, but luckily i had the extended protection on it. I took it back to office depot and got an upgraded one. My old camera was the Sony DSC-H7. The new one i got was the Canon Powershot SX10IS. It Has a 20x zoom, swivel screen, and is 10.0mp. I have been taking lots of pictures of anything and everything since i have been bringing my camera with me everywhere.

I was standing outside on my porch today while smoking a cigar and i was just observing the wind and nature when all of a sudden there was a big gust of wind. Those little seeds with the tails that spin around and fly like helicopters sprung from the tree and it was the most interesting thing to watch them shift from one area to another was very beautiful.
